Top Reason for an Un-level Mobile Home:
  • Loose or Missing Piers - Piers and Jacks are missing or loose (usually at least
    4 piers per job)
  • Water - Either a water leak or water build up from watering your lawn and
    flowers or water hose accidentally left on.
  • Deterioration - Your wood pads deteriorate from sea air, pest ( termites, ants,
    etc..) or dry rot.
  • Un-professional Original Setup - Never having the mobile home setup
    properly.
  • Insufficient amount of supports - Not enough supports or supports spacing is
    to far apart.

Other problems that could happen are:
Shaking, Squeaking or Wobbling when you walk around the mobile home.
  • The cause could be Your pier tops are raised to high leaving to little pier top
    supporting your home.
  • Your piers and pads have settled in a single area and now no support is
    being provided there for your home.
  • Walking in the home you feel bumps or uneven floors meeting at the seam
    line (where the two half of the double wide meet).
  • Entry doors and windows are getting stuck or jambed and will not open or
    close properly.
  • The cause; your mobile home has settled around the doors or windows and
    should be releveled.

How the work is done...

  1. Remove some skirting for access and fresh air.
  2. Setup some temporary lighting under the mobile home for the inspection and
    leveling.
  3. Check each pier and pad (make sure it's there, in good shape,and tight).
  4. Check for water leaks, moisture build and animal infestation.
  5. Check the mobile home and frame for level.
  6. Walk and show the customer the results of the inspection and leveling needs.
  7. Make repairs including leveling and re-install skirting
  8. Walk and show the customer the results after repairs are completed.
